Hookdeck Update: November 2023
At Hookdeck, we've built a platform to support the full software development life cycle of event-driven applications: tools with a great developer experience and a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure to help you build, deploy, and observe with confidence.
It's been possible to build the Hookdeck platform thanks to your feedback and support. Please keep the feedback coming!
Here are some of the things we've recently shipped and what to look out for in the near future:
Hookdeck Terraform Provider
We know how important it is to have full control of the platforms that you use. That’s why the Hookdeck API enables you to do everything that the Dashboard can and more. However, Terraform is all but the defacto standard for “infrastructure automation to provision and manage resources in any cloud” via IaC (Infrastructure as Code) config files.
So, we’re pleased to share that we recently released the Hookdeck Terraform Provider.
This first version supports the following resources:
- Connections
- Destinations
- Sources
- Source Verification
- Transformations
- Webhook Registration with 3rd-party providers. For example, Shopify or Stripe.

New Source Webhook Provider Signature Verifications
We’re continuing to add support to verify webhook signatures from new providers and using new methods. We recently added support for:

BETA Dashboard Feedback Request
Some of you have already noticed the option to try out the BETA dashboard 🕵️ If you haven't already tried it out, we'd love for you to give it a try and share your feedback.
Things to look out for:
- 📅 Dates are now shown as timestamps
- 🗜️ A more compact design
- 🌗 100% support for dark and light modes
- 🧠 Configure, Monitor, and Inspect sidebar categories
- ⚡ Quick access to Sources, Transformation, and Destinations ... and more
You’ll find the link to the new dashboard at the bottom left of the current dashboard or you can directly sign into the New BETA Hookdeck Dashboard.
Webhooks Backup Plan for Black Friday / Cyber Monday (BFCM)
