The focus for December at Hookdeck has been all about our new direction as an Event Gateway. Here's a summary our Event Gateway launch, and a few December updates.

Event Gateway summary

Our new direction means we are still 100% committed to serving customers who need a reliable and scalable solution for inbound webhooks. But we've seen that we can also help customers building event-driven applications who need a solution for additional use cases such as:

  • Outbound webhooks infrastructure
  • Third-party to third-party message routing
  • Asynchronous API gateway infrastructure
  • Serverless event broker

As part of this new direction we shipped a new website, we gave the Hookdeck documentation an overhaul, and we made a number of UX and feature improvements to the dashboard.

Read the Introducing the Event Gateway post for more details on our new focus.
