Cancel events

In short
Cancel upcoming delivery attempts for your events
Stop unwanted events from reaching your destinations. Event cancellations let you cancel upcoming delivery attempts for your events. Cancelling an event will either prevent it from being sent in the future or remove it from the queue if it's already pending. Events that are Paused, Delayed & Pending can be cancelled along with any Failed events with a "Next Scheduled Attempt".
Cancellations complement retries by giving you full control over which events should be delivered. Use them during maintenance windows, to manage rate limits, or to prevent erroneous events from reaching your destinations.
Here's what you can do:
Single Event Cancellation: Cancel individual events directly from the dashboard or API
Bulk Cancellations: Cancel multiple events at once using custom filters
Abort Operations: Stop ongoing bulk cancellations to preserve remaining events
Retry or bulk retry cancelled events: Retrying a cancelled event will set it back to Pending and allow it to be delivered again.
New API endpoints have been added to support cancellations:
Lastly, the "Scheduled" event status have been renamed to "Delayed" to avoid confusion with event that have a "Next Scheduled Attempt".
